William Fleming Bates

1853-1932

William F. Bates was a gospel preacher among churches of Christ during the late 19th and early 20th centuries. His main focus was among the Christians at Brushy Creek church of Christ in Cullman, County, Alabama. He and his wife are buried in the Bates Family Cemetery, near Brushy Creek church.

Directions To The Grave of W.F. Bates

In North Central Alabama, take I-65 to Exit 308, and head west of Cullman on Hwy. 278. Go five miles and turn left on County Road 810. Go 6.3 miles to Co. Rd. 222. Continue on Co. Rd. 810 about a quarter mile and turn left on Co. Rd. 362. Go about .6 miles and the cemetery will be on the left.
