Flavil Smith Was A Gospel Preacher

Flavil Hall Smith was born in McMinnville, Tennessee December 2, 1906. He was baptized by E. D. Martin in 1927. Preach was his love, and he began doing so in Tampa, Florida in 1940. He served church in Dade City, Florida from 1949-1950. Later he was at the Dover, Florida church in 1950. He passed from this life May 12, 1986, and was buried in the Smith family plot in the Salem church of Christ Cemetery just north of McMinnville.

Directions To The Grave of Flavil H. Smith

McMinnville, is located in central Tennessee about 35 miles east of Murfreesboro on Hwy. 70S. On 70S in McMinneville go north on Faulkner Springs Rd. about six or seven miles and turn left on Salem Rd. The Salem Church of Christ and cemetery is located on the left. Enter the cemetery and head to the rear, and the Smith section is located in front of a group of trees toward the rear.
